The goal is to have a better understanding of what getting a period is in different parts of the world. We will discuss how a basic understanding of what a period is can differ depending on where you live, how you were raised, and the communities that you are a part of. This meeting will show us how culture plays a prominent role in the stigmas surrounding menstruation and what we can do combat the stigma.
