If you are a middle or high school student or educator and you are interested in human rights and gender equity issues you may want to become a member of the Girls Learn International (GLI) community by starting a GLI Chapter. GLI is a program of the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) and our goal is to educate and energize U.S. middle and high school students in the global movement for human rights and gender equity.
There is no cost to starting a GLI Chapter or accessing the materials. The full GLI Guidebook contains activity guides for over 40 meetings including videos, discussion questions, presentation slides, event toolkits and more. Plus being a member of GLI offers you a number of other resources and opportunities to connect with other student activists and educators in the GLI program.
If you'd like to start a GLI Chapter, check out www.girlslearn.org and click 'Start a GLI Chapter.' Once you fill out the application, we'll review it and send you a Chapter Charter agreement and access to the full GLI Guidebook.
You can apply to start a Chapter while schools are closed and begin Chapter activities virtually. Then, when school resumes you cam move to in-person meetings or continue virtual activities.
